Feeling The Beat And Showing It!

Are you a bit of a party animal? If so, and you fancy being the centre of attention (and who doesn’t every now and again), then I may have found something interesting for you…

I was just having a look through some of the stuff on ‘Gadgets.co.uk’ and I found this‘Graphic Equaliser T-Shirt’. There had already been quite a few other nifty things that I had come across on there, but this one really rocks.

A Review Of The Canon PowerShot G11

January 6th, 2010

Cannon seems to be doing all it can to recapture some of its past glory with the PowerShot G11. Being the first G-series model with some major changes in some five years, this new model looks and feels like the last G-series model the G10. The old design is kept and so is the sturdiness of its construction, or at least thats how it feels. Among the changes you will find is the inclusion of an articulated LCD. Classic Albums #5 - Childhood and Straws.

It is unusual to think about a band managing to record two albums that can be considered as being ‘classics’. To get one close to perfection is an enormous achievement but a second is phenomenal…

1985 saw the release of Marillion’s ‘Misplaced Childhood’. The album was an enormous success both commercially and with a more discerning audience. It contained two hugely popular singles, ‘Kayleigh’ and ‘Lavender’.

It’s a Rap.

December 19th, 2009

The video that is attached to the end of this ‘SEO Rapper – Improve through Moves’ post is brilliant. I don’t know who thought of it and wrote the lyrics, but it really is clever.

I think that there should be more videos like this one. What an excellent way to teach people about something and keep them entertained at the same time. Obviously, it is highly amusing as well…

Maybe someone could make a heavy metal one to promote Read the rest of this entry »

Misplaced Childhood

1985 saw the release of Marillion’s ‘Misplaced Childhood’. The album was an enormous success both commercially and with a more discerning audience. It contained two hugely popular singles, ‘Kayleigh’ and ‘Lavender’.

At the time, the frontman of Marillion was the larger than life Derek W. Dick, more commonly known as Fish. Having Fish as lead singer and lyricist had its advantages. Family Value.

Family Value.

After reading this ‘Is Blood Thicker than Water’ post it got me thinking.

There is, after all, such a thing as ‘toxic intimacy’. Sometimes families can be downright claustrophobic. At least it is easier with your friends to some degree. That old adage of ‘you can choose your friends, but Read the rest of this entry »

Maybe someone could make a heavy metal one to promote the wonders of web design. There are so many subjects and such a wide variety of musical styles that the possibilities are endless.
