I hate Spam. That horrible meaty stuff that comes in a can, only God knows who would eat it. Apparantly HP’s ePrint printers, which are connected to the home router so they take in internet as well as the computer, will print out adverts with the help of Yahoo’s advertising network. Simply put, your ePrint printer will start spewing out adverts with your paper and ink. In my book, it’s Spam. And that’s one point against it already. It is pretty expensive to fill up your printer with ink, and with needless adverts coming out of your printer, expect costs to soar, and is it really good for the environment as well?

These adverts are targeted to the user. So if you’re a macho guy who loves football, you won’t get an advert for chemical peel. It would probably depend on what you do on the internet, and adverts are selected to the user. So the activities you partake in at 12 o’clock at night could easily be reflected in the adverts you get at 12 o’clock in the afternoon.

I think that this is a rubbish idea. I already hate my inkjet printer for the fact that it is so expensive to print on, I hardly ever print in colour for that matter, and now my ink and paper is to be wasted for adverts I really could do without. And for that matter, what’s in it for us? From reading this article and similar ones, I don’t see any saving for us, the consumers as HP revels in free advertising we don’t get a subsidy in ink or paper which will be wasted. A fail in my opinion, and it will probably be banned when there are more stringent environmental policies when users complain of the wastage. I don’t mind reading adverts if they are in my newspapers, (I read the Evening Standard, doesn’t cost a penny so I don’t complain about adverts) but why on Earth should we pay for advertising?

Microsoft Office was a revolutionary software when it was launched. We got the innovative MS Word, the professional MS PowerPoint, MS Excel transformed accounting, and MS Access made it easy to store data and create letters fast using “Mail Merge.”

Microsoft has just given a sneak peak to the general public of it new and upcoming browser called Internet Explorer 9. This new potential version of Explore is different from its predecessors in that the feedback loop and the Platform preview is almost totally different.

It seems that Microsoft is trying to keep web developers in the loop as it continues to improve and add new features before the final product is officially launched as they will be holding updates to its Internet Explorer 9 previews every two months or so. The new Internet Explorer 9 is not anywhere near finished and because of this the company has pasted the moniker on it.

According to Microsoft IE9 has not been developed to be solely a total Web browser even though it currently loads in shows Web pages with the help of the IE9 platform.

There is currently o user navigation tools that are on the previous browsers such as private browsing, an anti-malware filter, and an address bar.

Right now only Windows Sever R2, 7, and Vista SP2, will be able to run the Platform Preview. Windows XP will not run this platform even though close to three quarters of its operating systems being used globally is based on it.

It seems that this new Explorer will need the security and modern graphic underpinnings that are current in use today. It is also suppose to run on operating systems that are modern so that it can build on current innovations in operating systems and build on the newest hardware available.

The browser will enhance graphics and text by tapping into the graphic processor of your PC. This is one reason why the company has been pushing the browser in terms of gains in performance.

The engineers at Microsoft are no saying that IE9 is a re-built browser they prefer “re-architected”. This browser is set to go where no other browser has gone before.

So when I was on You Tube the other day, I decided to rekindle some of my childhood memories…

But; Shock! Horror! I came across this joke episode by mistake. It was made in just the same way as any other edition, but it is full of sexual innuendos. And I’m warning you right now; if you want to remember ‘Rainbow’ as a totally innocent kids programme, then do not click on the link! There is certainly nothing innocent about this short clip.

When I first watched it I thought that someone had sabotaged some old footage from the show as a joke. But this is not the case. It would appear that the entire cast and crew wanted to make a special episode that was full of adult humour. Obviously, it was never intended for broadcast and how it ever escaped from the vaults of the TV studio I’ll never know.

If you do insist on watching it, then ‘Rainbow’ will never be the same for you again. It’s very funny, but I can’t help thinking that it’s a shame to lose that childhood innocence. Perhaps it’s better to look up a different video instead…

This is a pleasant change from the round shaped earpieces of most models on the market today.

Although comfort is an important aspect to consider when choosing headphones, the true test comes down to audio quality. Here, the Image X10i does not disappoint. The way the earbuds fit inside your ears are not just for comfort, but for function as well. With such a snug fit, there is an ample amount of passive sound isolation; however, there is some noticeable noise coming from the rustling of the chords that may bother some during quieter parts of a song.

But the most impressive aspect of these headphones is the quality of sound, with clear and balanced audio, with clean sound from across the audio ranges. Bass has a tendency to overpower other elements, but not with these headphones. The audio is perfectly balanced.

The biggest concern of the Image X10i headphones is the price. They are definitely not cheap, and is priced at over three hundred dollars a set; a significant price difference from most ultraportable headphones that are available. As a result, only true music lovers can really justify such an outlandish price tag. If you are a passive music fan, perhaps you should look elsewhere, for this wallet draining model is the top of line in terms of quality and comfort.
